1. What GoodDayTo provides
GoodDayTo.app provides general weather-based planning information for everyday activities. The service combines forecast data with activity-specific scoring rules to show recommendations such as GO, WAIT and NOT TODAY, suggested time windows, local mapping context and explanatory content.
The service is designed for convenience and planning. It is not an emergency service, professional weather service, medical service, transport authority, marine safety system, venue operator, product manufacturer or certified safety system.
2. Your decisions and local conditions
You remain responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate. A favourable GoodDayTo score does not guarantee safety, access, availability, surface condition, water condition, legal permission or successful completion of an activity.
Where relevant, check official weather warnings, road and trail conditions, beach flags, currents, tides, water quality, fire restrictions, venue rules, local permits, product instructions, health considerations and any other information appropriate to the activity. Information from a competent local authority, venue, organiser, manufacturer or professional should take priority when it conflicts with a general GoodDayTo recommendation.
3. Forecast limitations
Weather forecasts are estimates and can change. Conditions at a specific street, trail, beach, field or property may differ from model data for the surrounding area. A forecast can also be updated after GoodDayTo has displayed a result.
GoodDayTo may cache recent forecast responses briefly to improve speed. Activity pages provide a refresh control where appropriate. Even after refreshing, the result remains dependent on the underlying forecast provider and the quality of available observations and models.
4. Activity-specific limitations
Some activities need information that is outside an ordinary weather forecast. Examples include trail mud, course opening status, wood moisture, soil moisture, river flow, current, waves, water temperature, venue bookings, market opening hours, event cancellation decisions, airspace restrictions and equipment-specific limits.
GoodDayTo aims to state these limitations on the relevant pages. The absence of a warning about a particular local condition does not mean that condition is safe or suitable.
5. Nearby-place and map information
Some tools use third-party map data to provide nearby context. A mapped beach, park, marketplace, golf course or other location may be closed, private, outdated, incorrectly tagged or unsuitable for the activity. A nearby result is not a reservation, permission, opening-hours check or safety inspection.
Directions links open third-party mapping services. Those services have their own terms, privacy practices and routing limitations.
6. Saved browser data
GoodDayTo can store preferences such as location labels, units, favourites, recent activities and saved plans in the browser. Clearing browser data, changing devices or using private-browsing modes can remove those settings. GoodDayTo does not promise permanent storage of browser-only information.

7. Shared links
Some activity and Planner results can be shared. Shared links may include a human-readable place label and planning information so another visitor can re-run the check. They are intended to trigger a fresh result rather than preserve an old forecast forever. Precise browser latitude and longitude are not intentionally placed in normal shared activity URLs.
8. Service availability and changes
GoodDayTo may add, change or remove activities, scoring rules, data sources, integrations and interface features as the service improves. External data providers may also experience outages or change their services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
9. Advertising
The site may display advertising or use advertising services to support its operation. Advertising does not determine weather scores or recommendations. Third-party advertising providers may operate under their own policies and consent requirements as described in the Privacy page.
10. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to interfere with its operation, bypass security controls, overload endpoints, scrape the service in a way that disrupts normal use, or use GoodDayTo to misrepresent forecast information as an official warning or professional certification.
11. No guarantee of outcomes
GoodDayTo cannot guarantee that an activity will be enjoyable, safe, available or successful. Weather is only one part of many outdoor decisions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, use of the service is at your own discretion and risk.
