Find the right activity without the clutter
Check your weather once, then search or filter the full activity library.
What do you want to do?
Type it naturally. Try βplay disc golfβ, βgo mountain bikingβ, βvisit the zooβ or βwash my carβ.
ποΈ Already know how long you need? Find the best time βHow the scores work
GoodDayTo uses separate weather rules for each activity instead of one generic βnice weatherβ score. It compares practical multi-hour windows and applies timing rules so an activity is not recommended at an unrealistic time.
What βBetter laterβ adds
When the best upcoming window is meaningfully better than the next few hours, GoodDayTo now explains the change in plain language: for example rain easing, wind dropping, UV falling, humidity improving or useful daylight returning.
What GoodDayTo refuses to pretend it knows
The app does not turn incomplete data into fake certainty. Fishing Weather does not predict catches, Birdwatching does not predict sightings, and Kayaking does not claim to know tides, currents, water levels or wave conditions. Those limits are stated directly on the relevant pages.
Frequently asked questions
How does GoodDayTo choose GO, WAIT or NOT TODAY?
Each activity has its own weather model and timing rules. GO means the measured forecast looks favourable, WAIT means conditions are mixed or another window looks better, and NOT TODAY means the forecast is currently a poor fit.
What does Better later mean?
If the next three hours are noticeably worse than a later window, the result highlights the main improvements instead of forcing you to compare raw forecast values.
Why do some activities have nearby-place checks and others do not?
GoodDayTo only uses mapped-place context where it adds something honest. Home jobs do not need a venue, and activities such as kayaking still require dedicated water-condition checks that a place lookup cannot replace.
Does the app predict fish, birds or other wildlife?
No. Those activities are scored only for weather practicality and comfort. Wildlife behaviour and catch success are not presented as measured facts.
Does a GO result guarantee safety?
No. Local warnings, access, surfaces, routes, water conditions, equipment and personal judgement remain separate from the weather score.
